Tigers are typically thought of as fearsome kings of the jungle, but in Korean Minhwa folk painting, they are depicted as silly next to the small but clever magpie. We love these paintings for their whimsical and satirical take on authority (...or ego!).

 

Just in time for 2022, the Year of the Tiger, this calendar is our modern homage to Minhwa 호작도 painting. 

 

Measures 12x18" on 100 lb recycled paper (nice and thick, with subtle flecks) and displays all the months of the year. Printed in beautiful, vibrant color on a smooth matte finish, so you can mark it up with all your favorite dates: anniversaries, birthdays, court dates...
