Inspired by our childhood memories of the bedtime story "fairy and the woodcutter" (선녀와 나무꾼), reimagined as a story of the making of diasporic homes. You can read the full story here or view the lookbook here.

Our button-up, boxy camp collar shirt has a relaxed, slightly oversized fit without compromising clean lines. Side vents for max comfort and flow. Made with 100% deadstock organza and mother-of-pearl button with checkerboard detail. With or without our Cloud Rib print, a lovely sheer layering piece, like wings almost lighter than air.

Each printed Maesil Shirt is one-of-a-kind! We’ve block printed each pair of ribs by hand using a plate that we custom designed and carved just for these garments. Thus each one has a unique appearance and there may be slight variations in the print.

Made with 100% deadstock organza in NYC. To preserve printed detail, handle with gentle care. Wash and dry inside out with like colors. Hand wash or gentle cycle with cold water. No bleach. Hang dry or low temp tumble dry. With time, print will wear into the fabric of well-loved garments.
