What is the shape of loneliness, and can we make friends with it?

Inspired by Korean mul gwishin (물귀신), or water ghosts, the lonely spirits of drowned souls that stay lurking in the cold watery depths. We all carry our ghosts with us - but maybe the potential to shift night into dawn lies in every moment, if we pay attention.

Teardrop Dress has a relaxed, slightly oversized fit and asymmetrical high-low hem for a graceful silhouette and lovely drape. Side zip for easy wear, and elegant ribbon tie closure in the back. This dress has pockets! Made with a crisp, lightweight cotton poplin. An easy but elevated outfit choice for airy days, or perfect for layering in cooler temps.

Each dyed and printed Teardrop Dress is one-of-a-kind! We’ve dip dyed and screenprinted each of these garments by hand. Thus each one has a unique appearance and there may be slight variations.

Made with 100% cotton (113 gsm). To preserve dyed and printed detail, handle with gentle care. Wash and dry inside out with like colors. Hand wash or gentle cycle with cold water. No bleach. Hang dry or low temp tumble dry. With time, print will wear into the fabric of well-loved garments.
